At Fortis, our nursing curriculum teaches students the knowledge and skills they need to be an entry-level registered nurse (RN) in a variety of clinical and hospital settings. After successfully completing the academic program, nursing candidates must pass their NCLEX licensure exam after graduation to qualify and pursue employment as a registered nurse.
Designed to meet the needs of today’s learners, this is a hybrid program, which means that the majority of the program is taken at the campus and several courses within the program (less than 50% of the program) are taken online. The program’s blend of on-campus and online courses allows students to experience all the support and services our school has to offer as well the flexibility and convenience of online classes.*
After graduation, associate degree in nursing students are qualified to take the NCLEX-RN examination to obtain licensure as a registered nurse.
Working nurses will tell you that nursing is an extremely rewarding career. At Fortis, we help you develop the competence and confidence to pursue your entry-level position as a registered nurse and get started on your new career.
